Return and Refund Policy

Thank you for registering for the 11th International Congress of the Asian Society of Toxicology (ASIATOX-XI).

If, for any reason, You are not completely satisfied with your payment, We invite You to review our policy on refunds and returns, under which refund requests for congress registration fees, workshop fees, and congress dinner fees may be considered. Interpretation and Definitions

Interpretation

The words whose initial letters are capitalized have meanings defined under the following conditions. The following definitions shall have the same meaning regardless of whether they appear in singular or in plural.

Definitions

For the purposes of this Return and Refund Policy:

Company (referred to as either “the Company”, “We”, “Us” or “Our” in this Agreement) refers to Malaysian Society of Toxicology, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, Jalan Raja Muda Abdul Aziz 50300, Kuala Lumpur, the main organizer of the 11th International Congress of the Asian Society of Toxicology.

Fees refer to payments made for congress registration, pre-congress workshops, gala dinner events, and other official ASIATOX-XI activities.

Orders means a completed registration or payment submitted by You for any Fees through the Website.

Service refers to the Website.

Website refers to 11th International Congress of the Asian Society of Toxicology, accessible from https://asiatox2026.com

You means the individual accessing or using the Service, or the company, or other legal entity on behalf of which such individual is accessing or using the Service, as applicable.

Your Order Cancellation Rights

All refund requests must be submitted in writing to the Congress Secretariat (secretariat@asiatox2026.com) and are subject to approval by the organizing committees, acting on behalf of Us.

Conditions for Refunds

Refunds will be considered under the following conditions:

  • Partial refund: Requests submitted at least 30 days before the event will be eligible for a refund of 50% of the total amount paid.
  • No refund: Requests submitted less than 30 days prior to the event will not be considered, and 100% of the paid amount will be forfeited.
  • For group registrations, refunds will not be processed separately for individual items or participants within the package; any participant who still wishes to attend must register again, subject to seat availability and applicable individual fees.

Refunds will not be issued for:

  • Non-attendance without prior cancellation.
  • Cancellations made after the congress has begun.
  • Fees for workshops or dinner with limited seating if the slot has already been reserved and confirmed.

We reserve the right, at its sole discretion, to refuse any refund request that does not comply with the above conditions.

Substitution Policy
If you are unable to attend, you may nominate a substitute participant at no additional charge, provided the request is submitted at least 30 days before the event.

Method of Refund
Approved refunds will be processed within 30 days and issued via Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) to the original payer. Any financial charges incurred during the refund process, including bank or foreign exchange fees, will be borne by the payer.

We will not be responsible for any incidental costs incurred by participants, including accommodation, travel, or other related expenses.
